The Information Technology organization partners across the company to design and execute strategies, manage IT risk, and ensure security measures align with enterprise standards. About The Role
Looking for a leader who can build defenses and foster a security‑first culture. As Head of Cybersecurity Operations, you will guide and mentor a team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
Take an expert role in managing information security events, driving metrics, response plans, and communications. Act as the escalation point for the Detection and Response Team during high severity incidents. Facilitate logistics, communications, and scheduling of event response meetings and follow-up tasks for stakeholders. Lead the development, strategy, and implementation of a coordinated monitoring center unifying multiple monitoring functions. Provide oversight for the Executive Protection Program, Dark Web Monitoring, and Internal Investigations. Contribute to development and publication of Information Security and Cyber Operations metrics to illustrate performance and risk trends. Drive continuous improvement across the group and stay aware of new technology and industry best practices. Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of increasing responsibility in cybersecurity/IT, including leadership roles. Extensive technical experience in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, with both individual contributor and leadership capabilities. Detailed understanding of MITRE ATT&CK and other cybersecurity frameworks. Experience in financial or other highly regulated industries preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills in formal and informal contexts. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience. Compensation
Anticipated salary range: $210,000 to $265,000 for Jersey City, NJ region at start of employment. Actual compensation depends on factors including location, skills, and experience. Eligible for a discretionary bonus under the applicable incentive plan. Corebridge also offers competitive benefits as part of the total compensation package. Work Location
Hybrid role based in Corebridge Financial offices in Houston, TX; Durham, NC; or Jersey City, NJ. Estimated Travel
