Senior Estimator
with a proven background in large-scale commercial projects to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking for the flexibility of a
hybrid work schedule . Position Highlights
Location: Open to relocators (hybrid schedule offered)
Compensation: $140,000 – $170,000 (based on experience)
Project Focus: Commercial construction projects exceeding $10M
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of detailed estimates for large
commercial projects ($10M+) .
Review project plans, specs, and contract documents to determine scope and costs.
Develop bid strategies, proposals, and budgets to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients during preconstruction phases.
Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier bids.
Identify value engineering opportunities and risk factors.
Maintain cost databases and historical pricing information.
Qualifications
8+ years of
commercial construction estimating
experience, with a strong portfolio of projects over $10M.
Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift).
Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and cost structures.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
