In this role you will have the opportunity to: Function as a technical lead engineer on underground transmission line projects. Perform underground transmission line design, ideally with experience of trenchless installation methods. Actively participate in management, project scheduling, and work/resource planning meetings. Interface directly with clients, vendors and subcontractors. QA/QC of projects and mentor junior engineers. Candidates willing to relocate may be considered. The Team

Engineering Standards:
Continues to learn, remains current and applies knowledge of departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and BV policies. Quality/Continuous Improvement:
Applies BV quality program; may ensure compliance; provides guidance to others on the project and discipline; supports continuous improvement efforts. Engineering Production:
Prepares complex engineering deliverables; performs research and recommendations for equipment/materials; prepares calculations; manages budget, schedule, and quality; evaluates engineering techniques; reviews lower-level work; may oversee data management, lead smaller production teams, and serve as responsible charge for a project. Project Coordination:
Coordinates with internal/external team members on moderately complex projects. Client Focus:
Assists with identifying client interests and drivers on less complex projects; communicates these to the team; may support business development. Knowledge Sharing, Innovation and Technology:
Recognized as a technical specialist; designs a complete project of moderately complex scope within assigned practice areas. People Management:
Typically assists with performance management, mentoring, and development actions. Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: PE License Underground utility experience – design methods and standards High voltage design experience Quality Assurance and Quality Control of transmission design projects Written Communications Drive For Results Priority Setting Planning Delegation Directing Others Conflict Management Informing Listening Dealing with Ambiguity and Building Effective Teams Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to the discipline Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program Minimum 5 years related work experience Pre-employment checks may include background, drug screen, and motor vehicle records in compliance with laws Work Environment
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days depending on manager discretion, performance and assignments. Certifications
Professional licensure or active pursuit in the designated home office country may be required depending on the division. Additional
