As an
Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II
here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. Responsibilities
Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity. Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies. Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production. Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements. Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices. Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis. Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions. Assist development of new products. Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow. Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals. Test products and software. Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics. 2+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing or process optimization. Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing. Experience with data analysis and statistical process control. Proficiency in manufacturing software tools and technologies relevant to process optimization. WE VALUE Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), Chemical Engineering or similar. Product or process engineering experience. Experience with Optics. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment. Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects. Hands on work ethic. Initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions. Ability to partner and collaborate well with team members across functions. Quickly and accurately identifying subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream).
