Sr Mechanical Engineer – Hydraulics
– Houston, TX (HYBRID) We are seeking a
Sr Mechanical Engineer
to join a growing team focused on
hydraulic systems and heavy equipment solutions . This is a
hands-on role
ideal for a
mid-senior level engineer
with a passion for design, field service, and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop
hydraulic power units, pumps, and motors
for marine and offshore applications. Create
technical models, layouts, and detailed drawings
using CAD software. Apply engineering principles to
stress analysis, material selection, and system performance . Work closely with
project teams and leadership
to execute designs and troubleshoot challenges. Travel up to
25%
based on project needs. Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering degree
from an accredited program. 5+ years
of experience in
design engineering or field service
(hydraulics required). Familiarity with
pressure-compensated hydraulic systems
for lifting and heavy equipment. IFPS or EIT certification
(preferred). Strong understanding of
GD&T, ANSI, ASME, ASTM standards . Seniority level
