In this role, you will provide mentoring, leadership, and technical expertise for custom engineered equipment used in Floating LNG, On-Shore LNG Export, LNG Peak shaving, FPSO, or regasification projects. Responsibilities

Select and implement designs for compressors, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, vaporizers, tanker loading arms, fired equipment or other packaged equipment. Evaluate, select, specify, and engineer equipment suitable for LNG and Floating LNG projects. Prepare equipment cost estimating and manhours for FEED and Detailed Design phases. Lead and coordinate meetings with internal disciplines, external consultants, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors/fabricators globally. Facilitate collaboration between US and India design teams. Prepare equipment data sheets and technical specifications for bid and purchase. Perform bid clarifications/meetings with bidders and prepare technical bid evaluations/summaries for equipment. Participate in client project meetings and coordinate with the equipment team. Participate in design & model reviews, HAZOP reviews, and constructability reviews. Develop construction sub-contracts for mechanical equipment and modularization efforts. Participate in on-site start-up and commissioning as needed. Attend pre-inspection meetings, inspections, and testing on fired equipment at vendor shops. Team and Environment

The Mechanical Engineering Department is a global team delivering high-quality design and services for Power, Gas, Fuels & Chemicals, Water and Waste Water, Data Centers, and Mining projects, including LNG-related work. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Floating LNG, LNG Export, LNG Peak shaving, FPSO, Off-Shore Oil & Gas, or Regasification; hydrogen or mid-stream projects; offshore platforms/vessels. Extensive technical expertise in specification and procurement of custom engineered equipment packages (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, fired heaters, flares, etc.). Experience from concept to detailed engineering through project start-up and operations support. Ability to read detailed project drawings and blueprints; AutoCAD experience for datasheets/drawings. Equipment inspection and condition engineering per API/ASME standards; machinery control system requirements; shop inspections of static equipment. Leadership experience with a team of engineers (~15) while performing hands-on technical work. Code knowledge: ASME, API, NFPA, TEMA, offshore classification (DNV, Lloyd’s, ABS), NBIC, API RP standards, ASME STS-1, NFPA, AWS welding; NACE MR 0175/0103; API 541-682, 686, 692, etc. Software: Codeware PV Design, HTRI (shell & tube, plate, air-cooled). Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 11+ years related experience; active engineering registration/licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects. Certifications

Active engineering registration/licensure to support EOR requirements where applicable. Work Environment and Schedule
