Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the repair and maintenance of the property’s physical structure to the highest standards of quality and safety. Supervise and guide Maintenance department associates, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance operational efficiency and contribute to achieving exceptional guest satisfaction scores. Responsibilities
Maintain the hotel, pool, and surrounding areas by performing routine maintenance tasks, including minor painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other related repairs using hand tools. Notify management of the need for major repairs or upgrades to lighting, heating, ventilation, or other critical systems. Respond promptly and professionally to guest service requests in alignment with company policies, maintaining accurate records of completed tasks. Program and configure phone systems in accordance with hotel requirements to ensure seamless communication. Monitor and record daily utility meter readings and equipment performance to ensure optimal operation. Remain accessible and responsive to both the Front Desk and Chief Engineer to address any immediate maintenance needs. Maintain up-to-date records of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all relevant chemicals and substances used. Ensure proper par stocking of commonly used maintenance parts and supplies to minimize downtime and delays. Familiarize with and adhere to emergency procedures to ensure swift, effective responses during critical situations. Other duties as assigned by the leader. Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required. At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a hospitality or similar environment. Licenses/Certifications
Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) are preferred. Position Requirements
