Responsibilities

Serve in a senior technical role and/or task lead to provide planning, analysis, design and construction support services for transportation structures (highway and rail) on local and national projects. May serve as a Project Manager on select projects. Contribute to business development, client presentations, proposal preparation, estimating project costs, contract negotiations, and overseeing and ensuring project quality, schedule, and budget requirements are met. Support successful delivery of projects from beginning to end. Be active in technical societies and be available to attend meetings or events outside normal working hours. Qualifications

MS in civil/structural engineering preferred. New Jersey PE License; NY and PA PE licenses a plus. New Jersey Turnpike Authority and New Jersey Transit experience. Extensive structural experience with transportation structures (highway and rail) including planning, analysis, design, plan preparation, specification development, bridge inspections, report writing, constructability reviews, value engineering and construction support services. Proven technical leadership on transportation structures leading multi-discipline design teams in developing final plans, specifications and estimates. Project management and project delivery experience leading teams through design and construction phases. Active involvement in local engineering and professional associations; established professional network with client and consultant communities. Demonstrated experience on various types of complex bridges, including analysis, design and plan development for new and rehabilitation projects. Solid understanding of design codes, specifications and procedures for highway and rail transportation structures. Proficiency in structural software (e.g., CSiBridge, Larsa, Midas, Lusas, STAAD or other similar tools). Benefits

Within the range, pay is determined by work location and factors including skills, experience, and education or training. Additional information
