Identifying, characterizing and purifying small molecule pharmaceutical compounds using analytical and chromatographic techniques (UPLC, HPLC, prep-LC, SFC, LC-MS, etc.). Conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on instrumentation as needed. Developing methods on LC and SFC. Investigating LC-MS columns/methods for specific projects. Collaborating with chemists, external resources and data management groups. Providing critical feedback to improve workflow and chemistry performance and implement best practices. Job Requirements
MS in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field with 5+ years of pharma laboratory experience outside academia/academic research; BS with 8+ years will also be considered. Extensive theoretical knowledge of UPLC, LC, LC-MS and hands-on experience with Waters and Agilent systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work well in a team and as an individual. Strong collaboration, attention to detail, problem-solving, learning agility, and ability to work across functions. Desired leadership and communication skills to operate in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment with flexibility and adaptability.
