We have created a leadership position in our corporate strategy organization: National Power Market Sector Leader. This is a key leadership role responsible for setting growth strategies and driving national business development in the Power market. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Strategy Officer and will collaborate across the organization to grow the project pipeline, expand client relationships with major accounts, and increase backlog. What You’ll Do

Establish a National Market plan by recognizing power delivery and power generation market trends and indicators. Execute a communication plan among National Market Sector Leaders, Area Market Sector Leaders, Client Delivery Leaders, and Area/Region Leaders. Identify key national accounts and establish market sales goals and client-specific objectives. Collaborate with other National Market Sector Leaders and leaders in Strategy and Growth to set the company’s growth plan. Responsibilities

Lead with empathy, effective communication, and a people-focused approach to inspire and motivate teams and internal stakeholders; build trust with newly acquired company leadership. Support development and implementation of sales strategies to enhance client relationships and drive growth. Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for expansion. Build and maintain partnerships with Key/Significant clients’ decision makers, ensuring needs are met and opportunities for collaboration identified. Drive business development initiatives to expand market presence and increase revenue. Identify new markets and non-traditional opportunities; develop national initiatives to realize expansion. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, project delivery) to ensure alignment with objectives. Utilize data and insights to inform decision-making and optimize business development, including pursuit cost management relative to project profitability. Key Skills And Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Business, or related fields 15+ years’ experience within the A/E/C industry or consulting Minimum of 10 years’ experience and knowledge within the Power Sector through direct industry employment or consulting Advanced degree and professional registration preferred Excellent people skills and ability to develop relationships quickly with clients and leaders Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client experience Proven ability to develop growth strategies and drive results in a team setting Experience with data analysis, client services, account management, and sales in Power Market Ability to connect Verdantas’ scope of services with Power Sector client needs National recognition and contacts within the Power Market Strong financial and business acumen Highly organized with ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Salary Range

At Verdantas, we offer comprehensive benefits packages. The minimum salary for this position is $200,000 (negotiable based on location and candidate qualifications). Benefits
