Welcome to Verdantas, where innovation meets sustainability and your career finds purpose. We redefine environmental consulting and sustainable engineering through cutting-edge modeling, digital technology, and a people-focused culture. Our work spans water resources, resilient land use, energy transformation, and civil infrastructure across more than 90 offices with over 2,000 experts, scientists, engineers, geologists, and technical specialists.
Join a people-first culture that values well-being, growth, and impact. Verdantas partners with clients to deliver smart, data-driven solutions to environmental and infrastructure challenges, helping shape a more sustainable future.
Verdantas is a leader in digitally enabled technical consulting solutions for the environment, water, and energy transition markets. We have grown significantly in the last two years, and we are seeking a National Power Market Sector Leader to set growth strategies and drive national business development in the Power market. This role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and collaborates with leaders across the organization to grow the project pipeline and backlog.
We design and upgrade power delivery systems—from extra-high voltage transmission lines and substations to distribution networks—while integrating engineering and environmental strategies to meet regulatory challenges and enhance system reliability. We specialize in decommissioning and repurposing coal-fired power plants and supporting sustainable redevelopment. Our renewable work includes planning and constructing wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects. Our team provides practical roadmaps for a smooth transition to sustainable practices, with expertise in green hydrogen, landfill gas, biofuels, and combined heat and power systems, supported by multidisciplinary teams across project stages. We also enable digital transformation in utility asset management using 3D modeling and laser scanning to optimize planning and operations.
