As a Clinical Specialist, you will execute the Medication Delivery Solutions value-added clinical business strategy. You will implement clinical programs and initiatives that differentiate the MDS product portfolio based on improved clinical outcomes and process enhancements, potentially resulting in lower costs-in-use. Clinical Specialists enhance the credibility of recommendations to customers and strengthen customer service and support. You will actively engage in conversion management, product implementation, and training on Medication Delivery Solutions products. Primary Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Regional Team to ensure the clinical effectiveness of sales and conversion management processes from pre-validation to retention. Develop strong relationships with end-users through product in-servicing and clinical education. Facilitate customer training classes to support conversion or retention for key customers. Work with the Sales Team on key account management strategies. Manage the Regional Team of per Diem nurses to provide high-quality training to customers. Train and mentor contract nursing staff, identifying high-potential nurses for the Clinical Specialist role. Conduct VAM assessments supporting Vascular Care and Vascular Access sales. Provide monthly updates to the Clinical Manager on regional training activities and support. About You
Registered Nurse with a bachelor’s degree. Maintain a valid RN license in good standing. At least 5 years of clinical experience, including 3 years in vascular access and ultrasound; BD MDS experience is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to conduct educational courses. Persuasive, credible, and able to influence without authority. Deep knowledge of infusion therapy, vascular access, and related disease states. Willingness to travel as needed, up to 80%. Basic digital literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Additional Information
Salary ranges from $87,500 to $144,400 USD, based on experience and location. The role may be based in Franklin Lakes, NJ, or San Jose, CA, with specific workplace arrangements and travel requirements. BD values on-site collaboration but offers flexible work options depending on the role.
