This is a full-time float position (30-35 hours/week) including every other weekend supporting our clinics in the greater Plano area. This role emphasizes holistic patient care and working within a coordinated care team. Responsibilities
Provide Primary and Family, evidenced-based care including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients. Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment. Manage patient appointments and conduct routine examinations to support positive health outcomes. Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care. Encourage patient participation in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management. Qualifications
A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; experience in Family Medicine or primary care preferred. Active Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing. Holistic, evidence-based care including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and safer sex practices. Order and administer immunizations and injections; provide vaccine counseling and education. Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent. Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) depending on market. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation. Pass a FIT test and wear a respirator when required by protocol. Education
Master’s Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Or in select states, Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with current National Board Certification and State license to practice as a Physician Assistant. Preferred Qualifications

The typical pay range for this role is $41.85 - $90.13 per hour. This range represents base pay for all positions in the job grade. Actual offer depends on factors including experience, education, geography and other factors. This position may be eligible for CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive programs in addition to base pay.
