Controller / VP Finance (CFO-Track) South Florida | Hybrid Onsite A private equity–backed
multi-site services platform
is seeking a
hands-on finance leader
to build the accounting and finance foundation for a fast-scaling buy-and-build venture. The business is executing an aggressive acquisition and integration strategy across South Florida, with institutional backing and a clear path to scale and exit. The Opportunity This newly created position reports directly to the sponsors and integration CEO. It blends controllership depth with a near-term CFO trajectory, serving as the financial and operational link between operating companies, investors, and lenders. The right leader will thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment—building financial structure, reporting discipline, and system cohesion from the ground up. You’ll be the connective tissue between acquisition targets, internal stakeholders, and capital partners, ensuring the platform scales efficiently and transparently. Key Mandates (first 6–12 months)
Integrate multiple acquisitions into a unified chart of accounts and consolidated reporting framework Lead ERP / CRM deployment (Acumatica, NetSuite, or equivalent) and unify disparate financial environments Establish 13-week cash forecasting, KPI dashboards, and board-ready reporting Support M&A diligence, onboarding, and post-close integration Build scalable processes for governance, audit readiness, and lender transparency Longer-term
evolve into CFO, recruit a small internal team, and shape capital-allocation strategy as the platform expands. Ideal Profile

building —not inheriting—finance infrastructure in fast-moving environments Demonstrated success driving growth, operational reporting, systems implementation, and acquisition (M&A) integration in a $25M–$200M+ business Analytical, decisive, and operationally engaged—comfortable in the field as well as the boardroom CPA preferred but not required; ERP fluency (Acumatica, NetSuite, ServiceTitan, etc.) highly valued Based in South Florida; hybrid onsite presence expected Culture
