Express is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join the team. Drive store floor and stockroom operations, train associates, and deliver a great in-store shopping experience for customers. Develop and motivate associates to maximize sales potential; provide in-the-moment coaching on floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and adherence to standards. Partner with Store Management to give feedback on associate performance; assist in training on store operations, product knowledge, policies and procedures. Execute action plans to optimize results; manage all aspects of daily store operations; ensure appropriate associate coverage for a great customer experience. Oversee and authorize checkout; assist with merchandise flow (shipment, replenishment, omni-channel operations) in-store. Monitor and analyze customer service provided by the team; build effective schedules with the right coverage; promote an environment focused on delivering excellent in-store experiences. Resolve customer service issues positively; model the customer experience standards; display product knowledge, policies, promotions, and loyalty programs. Lead product launches, visual presentation standards, signage, and related tasks; perform other essential duties as directed by supervisor. Qualifications
Education: High School or Equivalent Experience: 1 year, retail preferred Proficient in technology (iPad, registers) Availability including nights, weekends and non-business hours; meet physical requirements Critical Skills & Attributes
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers and supervisors Demonstrated sales accountability and ability to work well in a team Multitasking skills to handle multiple customers/processes Benefits and Compensation
