Our multi-disciplinary team is seeking an experienced Electrical Professional Engineer who will utilize design expertise to develop and review electrical systems for water and wastewater utilities projects. You will lead project teams, coordinate interdisciplinary work, and focus on electrical distribution systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including process structures and buildings. You will generate and review electrical equipment drawings, specifications, and approve vendor submittals, helping to maintain strong client relationships and pursue internal and external business opportunities. We collaborate globally to maximize design, digital technology, and support through Jacobs’ Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teams. Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate electrical design efforts for water and wastewater utility projects, including distribution systems for treatment facilities. Generate and review electrical equipment drawings and specifications; approve vendor submittals. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams locally and remotely to deliver project outcomes. Support internal and external business opportunities and contribute to project proposals. Guide and mentor team members, fostering cross-discipline coordination. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and ability to be licensed in multiple states Substantial experience in professional design of electrical systems for water projects Low and medium voltage power distribution experience Solid understanding of applicable electrical codes and standard practices, including NEC and NFPA requirements Hands-on knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and vendor equipment options Electrical system testing and commissioning experience Arc flash experience Familiarity with NFPA 820 requirements Ideally, you’ll also have

Instrumentation and Control system design experience LEED or similar sustainability experience Experience with renewable energy systems like wind and solar Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $170,000.00. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education/training.
