Lead electrical design and coordination for water and wastewater projects, including generation and review of electrical equipment drawings and specifications. Review vendor submittals and ensure project drawings are prepared using Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across multiple office locations, coordinating local and remote projects. Provide design expertise for electrical systems and participate in business development opportunities. Utilize AGI32 and related tools for lighting design and system modeling where applicable. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license and ability to be licensed in multiple states 5 years of experience in professional design of electrical systems, preferably for water projects Low and medium voltage power distribution experience Solid understanding of applicable electrical codes and standard practices, including NEC and NFPA requirements Hands-on knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and vendor equipment options Experience with AGI32 Experience with BIM/CAD programs such as MicroStation, AECOSim, AutoCAD and Revit Strong oral and written communication skills for collaboration across disciplines Ideally, you’ll also have
Instrumentation and Control system design experience LEED or similar sustainable design experience Experience with renewable energy systems (wind and solar) Familiarity with NFPA 820 requirements Base salary
