As

Senior Electrical Engineer , you will have the opportunity to: Work as a Technical Expert or Project Lead performing all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis. Support projects in Hyrdocarbon Processing (HPI), hydrogen, ammonia & fertilizer, FLNG, LNG and new energy. Explore various technologies within the process space to expand your skillset and knowledge. Develop electrical drawing deliverables including: One line and three line diagrams Electrical motor schematics, breaker control schematics and wiring diagrams Power cable sizing and cable schedules Complex engineering calculations such as load flow, short circuit, motor starting (ETAP or SKM), arc flash analysis (ETAP or SKM), protective relay settings Develop electrical equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction Create man-hour budgets and schedules for projects and proposals Attend on-site meetings, investigate existing conditions, interface with clients and provide support during construction Extensively use Microsoft Office, ETAP or SKM, AutoCAD to view/manipulate engineering drawing files If you want to grow and further develop your technical skills in the Gas, Fuels and Chemicals (GFC) industry alongside our engineering professionals, this is an excellent opportunity. Although project experience in GFC is preferred, we will consider candidates with Power Generation Facility design experience (e.g., Power Plants, Nuclear Plants, Hydrogen Facilities). The selected candidate must be located or willing to relocate to our World Headquarters location in Overland Park, KS (Kansas City) or one of our Flagship Offices in Houston, TX or Raleigh, NC. Key Responsibilities

Proactively provide guidance on department design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes and BV policies. May own or develop engineering standards and guides. Provide technical guidance to others on projects or disciplines. Ensure compliance with BV quality program; promote continuous improvement, change management and risk management. Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects; oversee data collection and management for engineering work. Develop advanced engineering solutions; manage budgets, schedules, and quality; mentor lower level staff. Coordinate with internal/external teams on complex projects; define project schedules for single or multiple disciplines. Identify client interests and drivers; communicate them to the project team and align performance accordingly. Support business development and pursuit activities; identify future client needs. Serve as technical specialist in a broad area or specialized field; contribute to multiple projects and industry activities. Mentor and support career development and succession planning within the team. Management Responsibilities Supervises work of others; responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of subordinates. Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Oil & Gas project experience, contributing as a design engineer Project Lead experience and SME in LNG, FLNG, hydrogen, ammonia & fertilizers Experience dealing with ambiguity and building effective teams Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable standards Petrochemical or process industry experience Working knowledge of the NEC (NFPA 70) National Electrical Code Experience with Hazardous Area Classifications per NEC/API Experience with ETAP or SKM electrical system analysis modeling software Experience with industrial power distribution systems (MV/LV) including switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, batteries, UPS Experience with protective relay settings and sizing calculations Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering from an accredited program or equivalent experience Minimum of 11 years related work experience Active Engineering Registration/PE to support engineer of record requirements Certifications Active Engineering Registration or Licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries Work Environment
