Transportation Design Engineer, Entry Level - CD0023 Felsburg Holt & Ullevig is a transportation engineering, planning and environmental firm that delivers professional services based on innovation, consensus building, and cost effectiveness. This role focuses on transportation design and plan production for multimodal transportation corridors, roadway, highway/interchange, and multi-use trail projects for state and municipal clients, with an early emphasis on applying transportation modeling software for design projects. Longer-term opportunities may continue this technical path or transition to project management/managerial duties. Responsibilities
Use computer aided design engineering software (Civil3D and/or MicroStation ORD) as the primary transportation design modeler and as the tool for plan production on various transportation projects Assist with data collection, technical analyses, and written project documentation Assist with client interaction and correspondence, including presenting elements of design at client coordination meetings Apply Federal, State, and Municipal standards as appropriate Maintain an organized design journal for each project Follow FHU's Total Quality Management program for all tasks and deliverables Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university 0 to 3 years of Transportation Engineering experience; prior experience/internships in Transportation Engineering or a related field is preferred FE / EI certification is preferred Experience with Civil3D and/or MicroStation/ORD is preferred Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred Compensation and Benefits
The pay for this position has a range of
$72,000 - $85,000
annually. The actual offer will carefully consider a range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
