KPMG is seeking a Manager IC, Tech Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity. Responsibilities
Drive efficiencies and automation that help support the resilience of the Firm's most critical applications Set team goals and SLAs, coordinate with near-shore and offshore IT-DR teams; help set the IT-DR Lifecycle roadmap and identify unaddressed areas for solutioning Assign team members to the right projects at the right time within budget and timelines; ensure team members have skills and tools to perform their jobs, acting as point of escalation to leadership Balance execution with tactical and strategic planning; monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance for the IT-DR Area Align with core strategies and commitments while partnering with ERO and Risk management; guide IT disaster recovery and Business application teams toward optimal solutions Engage with department management and staff to influence client expectations and provide well-considered alternatives, suggestions, and recommendations for improvements; ensure goals and objectives are tracked Qualifications
Minimum five years of recent experience in IT-Disaster Recovery and/or leading IT Infrastructure or Application Teams Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; IT-DR related Certifications are a plus Expert knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Networking, DNS, Load Balancing, Servers, High Availability Experience in an enterprise IT-DR setting performing IT-DR planning and testing (e.g., application failover and DR site operations) Proven leadership and communication skills with collaboration across application teams as well as nearshore and offshore teams Demonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Office Suite and Agile Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future; no sponsorship is available for various work visa classifications Additional information
