The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for running the job site, delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires a process-driven leader who can manage multiple sites, keep projects on schedule, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners. Essential Job Function & Responsibilities

Work directly with Regional Manager and project managers to help implement project goals. Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed. Oversee various aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution. Review project implementation and gather data on project execution. Coordinate with Construction Managers, project managers and other project leads following project execution. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure materials are available for construction teams. Communicate delays and any issues to clients as needed. Complete tasks assigned by the Regional Manager in an efficient and timely manner. Identify safety concerns and preventive measures. Outline completed portions of the past week that meet or exceed the Project Schedule. Create and maintain project task schedules and 3-week look ahead plans. Attend weekly project meetings and discuss change events and staff/subcontractor performance. Quality control: inspections, documentation, and electronic submittals. Safety: inspections, documentation, and electronic submittals. Crew oversight and management; maintain crew production schedules; lead safety toolbox talks; comply with Job Hazard Analysis and Site Specific Safety Plan. Identify punch lists and observations from the previous week; complete closeout documents and QA/QC checklists. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management. Maintain regular attendance as required by policy. Required Qualifications

3+ years of commercial or utility-scale solar PV mechanical foreman experience. 2+ years of commercial or utility-scale solar PV mechanical superintendent or construction management experience. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience supporting major construction projects, preferably in power stations or utility-scale projects. Experience with multiple racking manufacturers, subcontractors, and pile driver manufacturers. Willingness to travel and relocate between projects. Experience with MS Project or comparable project management tools (preferred). Experience with ProCore (preferred). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Fluent in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills. Experience reviewing mechanical installation manuals and design packages; understanding top-of-pile designs. Assertive, able to work under pressure, and a team player. Ability to learn and apply applicable laws and guidelines; attention to detail and time management. Ability to interact with Owner’s Field Representative and outside testing agencies if needed. Experience operating construction equipment, pile drivers and GPS surveying equipment. Knowledge of installation methods for mechanical systems in the industry. Experience with preventative maintenance, lubrication, fuels, warranties; QA/QC inspections; updating drawings for as-builts; supervising pile pull testing. Physical Demands

Able to climb ladders, scaffolding, stairways; work at elevated heights and in confined spaces. Able to walk or move while carrying tools and materials (up to 50 lbs; assistance may be required for heavier items). Must stand or walk for long periods and work extended hours on uneven surfaces. Must have full range of motion and flexibility to perform duties. Requires repetitive movement. Location

Access to job site may involve uneven ground, obstructed pathways, and work at low/high elevations; work in confined areas. Outdoor climate with exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, rain, noise, and potentially hazardous substances.
