Your role: Design and optimize mechanical and electromechanical wave pool systems and equipment. Support configuration management tasks related to bills of materials, parts lists, and equipment supply. Collaborate with project managers and contribute to sales efforts as needed. Main Tasks Design and evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems through research programs, applying principles of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials. Build and manage CAD models in PTC Creo (or equivalent). Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural performance. Analyze data and interpret results to support design decisions. Define system specifications by studying customer requirements, manufacturing methods, and operator feedback. Develop and improve manufacturing processes for fabrication, assembly, and installation. Assure product and system quality through testing methods, validation of finished products, and confirmation of fabrication, assembly, and installation processes. Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Manage and update system and product databases using configuration management best practices. Coordinate maintenance and repair services to keep equipment operational. Collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field). Preferred Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field). Hands-on experience with CFD and FEA (Pro-E MECHANICA or similar). Proficiency with CAD modeling tools (PTC Creo or equivalent). Experience with data analysis and dynamic simulation tools (SciLab, MATLAB). Familiarity with programming in C++ (Python or Linux scripting a plus). Strong analytical, conceptual, and design skills. Ability to clearly prepare and present technical information. Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for international collaboration. Willingness and availability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
