$125,600.00/yr - $188,400.00/yr Location: Port Arthur, Texas, USA Job Category: Engineering Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-time Primary Purpose

We are looking for a skilled Reliability Engineer reporting to the Principal LNG Engineer to support the safe and reliable operation of the Port Arthur LNG Facility. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in increasing and maintaining equipment reliability, reducing unplanned downtime, and optimizing maintenance strategies to enhance the overall efficiency and safety of the facility. This position involves detailed reliability analysis, risk assessments, and close collaboration with maintenance and operations teams. The scope of the role largely includes providing technical support to the operation of the LNG facility. Prior LNG experience is valuable. Duties And Responsibilities

Comply with safety/health and environmental policy. Drive SSHE excellence through evaluation of losses and near losses related to reliability and mechanical efficiencies, management of highest risks, and supporting safety culture using established programs Support the development and improvement of the Equipment Management Plan for the facility. Understand and possess working knowledge of different equipment (rotating equipment such as pumps, centrifugal compressors and Frame 7 turbines) and instrumentation including piping, vessels, heat exchangers and safety devices and their interfaces with other fixed, process and rotating equipment. Conduct reliability analyses, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), to identify failure patterns and develop solutions to prevent recurrence. Influence the design and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance and risk based inspection programs to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned outages based on the reliability metrics determined by the reliability program Develop and influence application of risk-based inspection programs and methodologies to focus maintenance efforts on high-risk assets. Lead and influence Reliability Centered Maintenance initiatives to optimize maintenance plans, reduce costs, and improve asset performance. Monitor, analyze, and interpret equipment performance data to identify reliability trends and prioritize reliability improvements. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure asset integrity, compliance with regulatory standards, and that equipment operates within design parameters. Provide reliability engineering support in new projects by reviewing equipment specifications, participating in design reviews, and recommending changes to enhance reliability. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of reliability analysis, maintenance activities, and equipment histories. Maintain and update the site Reliability Engineering intranet site and develop tools and work process documents to improve support capabilities Issue periodic reports of program status on high and medium risk issues and resources required to complete tasks Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties) Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering or Data Analytics Required Experience

5 years LNG, Oil & Gas and Cryogenic industry Required Experience in Reliability Engineering, or a related field Preferred Skills And Abilities

Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, maintenance optimization, and root cause analysis techniques. Familiarity with reliability methodologies such as RCM, FMEA, and Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) analysis. Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO) for LNG facilities. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Proficiency in using statistical analysis and data mining techniques to interpret performance data and generate actionable insights. Skilled in performing and leading risk assessments and hazard analyses to prioritize equipment maintenance and safety protocols. Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems, make data-driven decisions, and implement reliability improvements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating technical reports, presenting findings, and facilitating cross-functional discussions. Familiarity with Asset Performance Management (APM) software and risk-based inspection tools to prioritize equipment inspections Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork and cross-functional collaboration Self-motivated with ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives, prioritize workload, and progress multiple projects Adaptable and able to approach change with a constructive attitude Experience with workshop and plant environments Problem solving, teamwork, leadership, and good communication skills Knowledge of equipment/instrument specification, Appropriation request preparation, and Management of Change Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiar with SEEQ, AVEVA’s PI or GE’s APM Familiarity with ISO 14224, API RP 691, API 670 Familiarity with machine condition monitoring software Experience with CMMS such as SAP PM, Maximo, or similar Familiarity with reliability software tools for RCM and FMEA Experience using data manipulation tools such as Python is a plus Experience with HAZOP/HAZID studies Licenses and Certifications
