Overview
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and execution of electrical systems that support vital infrastructure like pipelines, compressor stations, and storage sites. This position focuses on integrating advanced technologies to improve operational performance while ensuring safety, compliance, and long-term reliability across all projects. Responsibilities
Lead the development and enhancement of power systems for pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities. Integrate technologies such as automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage. Design and enforce safety measures including arc flash mitigation and fault detection. Oversee project lifecycles from concept through completion, ensuring technical and budget alignment. Support and mentor junior engineers, promoting knowledge-sharing and development. Ensure all work complies with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering 4-8 years of engineering experience in natural gas, data centers, or similar industries Strong knowledge of NEC, NEMA, API, and IEEE standards Experience with arc flash studies and power distribution systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications PE license and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred Experience with PLCs, project management, and instrumentation systems including HMI and Pre-FEED/FEED/EPC phases preferred You would be really happy here if
