Overview
Partnership Success Coordinator - College of Cooperative Education and Professional Studies at the University of Cincinnati (CCPS). This role connects industry partners with University of Cincinnati student talent, supporting on-campus recruiting initiatives, monitoring Handshake application traffic, and collaborating with career counselors and relationship managers to align employer and student needs. Responsibilities
Collaborate with account managers and relationship managers to understand employer hiring needs and develop strategies to connect them with student talent. Promote new partners to students and ensure appropriate applicant flow. Review employer postings in Handshake and suggest improvements to application flow. Research relevant student audiences and coordinate with career coaches and CCPS comms to distribute job opportunities and raise visibility of partner roles. Plan and execute industry-facing events in partnership with the Assistant Director of Events (e.g., on-campus recruiting days, info sessions, job fairs). Maintain regular communication with career counselors to stay informed about student search trends and academic cycles. Work with industry partners to understand and fulfill recruiting needs, coaching them on best practices for student engagement. Serve as a bridge among employers, the Relationship team, and campus stakeholders for timely updates on partnership activity. Assist in developing and implementing the Partner Engagement Plan. Educate recruiters and partners on effective campus engagement, job postings, and student outreach within the UC environment. Update employer records to reflect recruiting and engagement activity. Perform related duties as needed; the job description may change at any time. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required. Two (2) years of relevant experience (employer relations, recruiting, event coordination, or higher education preferred). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks efficiently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with professional correspondence. Experience using job boards and CRM systems (Handshake preferred). Additional qualifications considered: experience supporting employer or student engagement in higher education; knowledge of recruiting timelines, internship programs, or industry hiring practices; experience in event planning and partner engagement strategies. Work Environment
The role primarily functions from the 1819 Innovation Hub (2900 Reading Road). CCPS participates in the University's alternative work program; hybrid work arrangements may apply per UC policies. Residence in the tri-state area within a reasonable distance to UC Main Campus is desirable to report to campus as required. Compensation and Benefits
