Overview The Partnership Success Coordinator at the College of Cooperative Education and Professional Studies (CCPS) connects industry partners with University of Cincinnati student talent. This position works with employers and internal teams to meet partner talent needs through strategic recruiting activities, job postings, and events. It supports on-campus recruiting, monitors Handshake application traffic, and collaborates with career counselors and relationship managers to ensure alignment between employers and students. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, task-driven, and able to prioritize multiple partner needs in a fast-paced environment.

Location and Schedule CCPS is hiring multiple candidates for this role. The position primarily functions from the 1819 Innovation Hub, 2900 Reading Road. Hybrid work may be possible per UC policies. Residence should be in the tri-state area within reasonable distance to UC Main Campus to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change according to university policies.

Essential Functions

Collaborate with account managers and relationship managers to understand employer hiring needs and develop strategies to connect them to student talent. Ensure new partners are promoted to students and receive appropriate applicants.

Review employer postings in Handshake to ensure proper student application flow and suggest improvements as needed.

Research relevant student audiences and collaborate with career coaches and CCPS communications to distribute opportunities and increase visibility of partner roles.

Execute industry-facing events in partnership with the Assistant Director of Events, including on-campus recruiting days, information sessions, and job fairs.

Maintain consistent communication with career counselors to stay informed of student search trends, talent availability, and academic cycles.

Work with industry partners to understand and fulfill recruiting needs, and coach them on best practices for student engagement.

Bridge employers, the Relationship team, and campus stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely updates on partnership activity.

Assist in developing and implementing the Partner Engagement Plan.

Educate recruiters and partners on effective campus engagement, job postings, and student outreach within the UC environment.

Update employer records to reflect recruiting and engagement activity.

Perform related duties as needed; job descriptions may change at any time.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree required

Required Experience

Two (2) years of relevant experience (employer relations, recruiting, event coordination, or higher education preferred).

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks efficiently.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on professional correspondence.

Experience using job boards and CRM systems (Handshake preferred).

Additional Qualifications Considered

Experience supporting employer or student engagement in higher education.

Knowledge of recruiting timelines, internship programs, or industry hiring practices.

Experience in event planning and partner engagement strategies.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment Office environment with no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
