Human Resource Generalist

ProMach is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to provide support for recruiting, HRIS administration, benefits administration, and various projects for four divisions located in Wisconsin, Illinois and South Carolina. The position will be based out of the CL&D Division in Hartland, WI. The person in this position will apply HR expertise to support HR Managers in driving and implementing HR initiatives at the division level and as developed by the corporate function. The role includes HRIS administration utilizing Workday. Responsibilities
HRIS: Administer all payroll changes, documentation, special reports, and maintain 100% accuracy within HRIS software. HR/Payroll processes: Onboarding new hires; terminations, leaves of absence, transfers, I-9/E-Verify; coordinate bi-weekly payroll with Division Controllers to ensure correct submission to Corporate Payroll. Reports: Create/generate reports such as monthly accrual liability, benefit data, salary history, web user configuration, OSHA hours, etc. Data accuracy: Verify information among HR/Payroll systems and third-party providers; maintain Leave of Absence and workers’ compensation data; upload changed HR documentation to the central HR website. Performance: Assist in administering the performance management system. Safety and RTW: Work with Division Controllers to provide workers’ compensation information to the insurance carrier and ensure RTW validations are completed. Special projects: Assist in surveys, audits, reports, and Division event coordination; act as a technical systems resource for the Division. Staffing: Partner with hiring managers to source, interview, and select candidates; help bring in top talent efficiently and cost-effectively. Hiring strategy: Guide profile development, sourcing/selection, compensation, and job offer strategy with HR Managers; create accurate job descriptions and manage open positions through background checks, onboarding, and new employee orientations. Employee Relations: Refer employee relations issues to the HR Manager; organize company meetings and events to boost morale and productivity; administer policies and procedures consistently. Benefits Administration: Manage day-to-day benefits questions; serve as first point of contact for benefits; support oversight of benefit plans and programs; keep job descriptions and compensation programs updated. Safety: Support safety program implementation; ensure OSHA and other safety regulations compliance; participate in safety committee and incident investigations; work with managers to identify root causes and reduce injuries. Performance & Organization Effectiveness: Promote performance management philosophy; coach supervisors to drive performance and align behaviors; assist efforts to improve under-performing employees. Compliance & Training: Ensure compliance with laws and regulations; partner to keep safety policies and training current; deliver engaging training; maintain confidentiality and professionalism; demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
