NOVONIX
The Senior Investor Relations Associate plays a vital role in supporting NOVONIX’s investor relations activities, working closely with the Director of Corporate Communications, Finance, Legal, and Executive Leadership. This position is responsible for preparing investor communications, managing investor inquiries, supporting compliance and disclosure processes, organizing investor engagements, and assisting with media monitoring efforts. The role demands excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This position is fully onsite and working from our Riverside office location in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Currently, the working hours for this role are Monday through Friday (dayshift). Some after-hours work may be required. Please note that as our company evolves, working arrangements, locations, and hours may change to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
Investor Communications & Messaging: Support the Director of Corporate Communications in preparing investor-facing materials such as presentations, fact sheets, talking points, and FAQs. Assist in drafting and editing quarterly earnings materials, disclosures, and shareholder communications. Help ensure consistency across all investor-facing content and messaging. Investor Engagement & Relationship Management: Manage and nurture a portfolio of investor relationships, providing timely and accurate information, escalating strategic issues to senior leadership as needed. Coordinate logistics and preparation for earnings calls, investor meetings, analyst site visits, and conferences. Develop and manage meeting briefings, schedules, and post-meeting follow-up. Assist in planning and executing analyst days and other investor-facing events. Inbox & Stakeholder Management: Manage and triage the investor relations inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses. Track and report on themes, questions, and investor sentiment trends. Compliance & Reporting Support: Support the Director of Corporate Communications and Finance teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely disclosure of financial and corporate information. Work with Legal and Finance on regulatory filings and disclosure requirements, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations in a support capacity. Market Monitoring & Intelligence: Track NOVONIX’s stock performance, trading activity, and relevant market movements. Monitor analyst research, earnings estimates, and industry news. Maintain dashboards and internal summaries of market sentiment and IR performance indicators to help inform corporate messaging and positioning. IR Operations & Website Support: Help update and maintain NOVONIX’s IR website content. Maintain IR contact lists, meeting logs, and engagement databases. Support timeline coordination across Finance, Legal, and Communications during earnings and disclosure periods. Media Monitoring & Support: Assist with tracking media coverage relevant to NOVONIX, investors, and the battery sector. Help prepare briefing documents, media summaries, and reputation tracking tools. Support public relations logistics — without acting as a spokesperson. Travel: Participate in investor meetings, conferences, and site visits as needed, with limited travel requirements. Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling investor materials. Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Understanding of capital markets, investor relations best practices, and regulatory disclosure requirements. Experience managing investor inquiries and coordinating investor events or meetings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems and digital communication tools. Collaborative mindset, comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Communications, and Executive teams. Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving startup environment. A highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative. Able to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization. Action-oriented. Strong presentation skills. Willingness to travel occasionally to support investor relations activities. Preferred Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in communications, finance, business, or related field. 7+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, finance, or related roles, preferably within a public company. Experience working for a publicly traded company.
