University of Arkansas System The Parking Ambassador is a member of the Parking Operations team. The Ambassador provides direct customer service with Pay Stations and Exit Verifiers as well as answering general questions regarding the UAMS Facilities or Parking regulations. The Ambassador enforces UAMS parking regulations by issuing warnings and/or citations for illegal parking, identifies scofflaws, and applies boots to vehicles. The Ambassador performs lot counts for available parking spaces and reports any maintenance items. The Parking Ambassador operates the Remote Parking Management System (RPMS) and provides remote assistance to customers. The RPMS is staffed 24/7/365. The primary responsibilities while stationed at RPMS are to monitor cameras and remotely assist customers with various parking transactions as well as exception management. In the event remote customer assistance is not successful, an Ambassador is dispatched and stationed in the field to provide further assistance. Additional responsibilities may be assigned during non-peak hours and may include database management and various clerical duties. Could possible work overnight shift. Must be ACIC / NCIC Certified / Valid Driver's License Required. Qualifications
