Professional (+) (Fixed Term)**Position Details:****The Opportunity:**As the **Culver Hospitality Relations Manager** for the School of Hospitality Business Management (SHBM), you will take the lead in shaping the student experience—connecting students with professionals, faculty, and alumni to support their academic and career goals. You will manage all aspects of the program, from strategic planning and resource allocation to building partnerships that enhance student development and placement.In this role, you will design and implement initiatives that help students meet their 1000/400-hour work experience requirement, strengthen professional skills, and increase engagement across the SHBM community. You will also play a key role in student recruitment and donor relations, helping grow financial support and expand opportunities for students.To succeed, you will need to exercise independent judgment, make strategic decisions, and manage commitments—both financial and non-financial—that directly impact the School. **Monthly Salary:** $4,062 - $5,500 | *Commensurate with experience and qualifications*

**Required Qualifications:*** A Bachelor’s degree in a program-related area and four (4) years of progressively responsible work in the program specialty, which has included at least two (2) years of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.* Experience with entry-level advising and Hospitality employment industry standards.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability and willingness to occasionally travel, work weekends, and work after regular business hours.* Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with **SPPM 7.10**and departmental driving standards.* Experience with event planning and coordination.**Preferred Qualifications:*** Familiarity with the job market and employers in the greater Seattle area.* Coordinating career fairs, workshops, or employer engagement events.* Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with employers, alumni, and community organizations* Experience working with diverse populations, including students, alumni, and professionals at various stages of their careers* Work experiences that demonstrate strong public speaking skills and the development and delivery of engaging and informative presentations.* Work experience that demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and work in a collaborative team environment.* Familiarity with student-led, alumni-led and faculty-led activities.* Experience in a professional hospitality environment and program development* Experience in strategic planning, formulation, design, implementation, and tracking.* Experience creating/auditing administrative procedures and internal controls.**About Department/College/Area/ Campus** -
