2026 Spring Co-Op - Communications - Hunt Valley, MD Textron Systems is seeking a Communications Co-op to support employee-facing corporate communications activities. Reporting to the Communications Strategist, this role is part of Textron Systems' Marketing & Communications team. Responsibilities
Broadly support internal communications across the Textron Systems segment Serve as employee communications point of contact for internal stakeholder teams as assigned Deliver high-impact, innovative communications, partnering with cross-functional team members in a coordinated approach while ensuring messaging consistency Support the planning and rollout of campaign messaging efforts across channels Manage employee communications channels including intranet, newsletters and digital signage Work with the Strategic Communications & Creative group to develop materials that translate project concepts into easy-to-understand visuals Support achievement and reporting of corporate and team key performance indicators Actively contribute to other projects or special programs and support cross-functional initiatives as assigned Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Communications, Journalism, Mass Media, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field Exemplary writing, editing and presentation skills Experience with employee communications, social media and/or content development Strong detail orientation, project planning and execution skills Action-oriented self-starter Ability to engage with colleagues across the business, from shop floors to the executive team, with confidence and competence Resourceful problem solver Proficient in Microsoft Office; proficient in Canva; video editing experience is preferred This position requires a U.S. citizen About Textron Systems & Benefits
