The Communications Co-op will support employee-facing corporate communications activities. Reporting to our Communications Strategist, this role is part of Textron Systems’ Marketing & Communications team. As a Communications Co-op, you’ll help communicate key projects and strategies to employee audiences across multiple channels, ensuring alignment across sites and business lines to support our customers. Candidates should be detail-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to think strategically, adapt quickly and work well with teams and stakeholders across the business. Superior writing and proofreading skills, written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical abilities, are essential. Responsibilities
Broadly support internal communications across the Textron Systems segment Serve as employee communications point of contact for internal stakeholder teams as assigned Deliver high-impact, innovative communications, partnering with cross-functional team members in a coordinated approach while ensuring messaging consistency Support the planning and rollout of campaign messaging across channels Manage employee communications channels including intranet, newsletters and digital signage Collaborate with the Strategic Communications & Creative group to develop materials that translate project concepts into visuals Support achievement and reporting of corporate and team key performance indicators Actively contribute to other projects or special programs and support cross-functional initiatives as assigned Qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, Mass Media, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field Exemplary writing, editing and presentation skills Experience with employee communications, social media and/or content development Strong detail orientation, project planning and execution skills Action-oriented self-starter Ability to engage with colleagues across the business, from shop floors to the executive team, with confidence Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient in Canva Video editing experience is preferred This position requires a U.S. citizen Why Fall Co-Op with Textron Systems?

Textron’s compensation package includes competitive base pay and eligible benefits. Pay range for this position is $22 - $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
