Overview
Cascadia Partners seeks a Marketing Coordinator to lead the preparation of proposals and marketing materials that reflect the firm’s expertise in urban planning and design. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of the RFP/RFQ response process—from tracking requirements to producing polished materials. The Marketing Coordinator will also support broader marketing and branding efforts, helping to craft compelling materials for a variety of external audiences. This is a salaried, part-time position. We are starting the position at 20 hours per week on average; more hours could be possible in the future depending on company growth and needs. In-person, fully remote, and hybrid arrangements are available. Applicants located in the Portland metro area or Bend, OR are preferred, but we welcome remote applicants based in the Pacific Time Zone. Our Work

Coordinate the full lifecycle of custom proposal packages Track inbound RFPs/RFQs and develop proposal schedules and checklists Facilitate meetings and communications among proposal team members to discuss strategy, progress, and assignments Collaborate with technical staff, leadership, and teaming partners to gather and synthesize proposal content Conduct quality assurance checks on proposals, including proofreading for grammar, punctuation, and style consistency, as well as verifying the accuracy of the content Ensure proposals comply with submittal requirements and deadlines Maintain and improve templates, attachments, and formatting tools Create and maintain libraries of project descriptions, resumes, staff bios, and images Uphold and evolve visual brand standards across all proposal materials Support development of interview materials and presentation decks Marketing & Branding (Support Role)
Provide support for event planning and promotional materials Support firm storytelling by drafting or editing project blurbs, team bios, and client messaging Help maintain and refine marketing tools, templates, and systems Qualifications & Attributes
Familiarity with urban planning terminology, project types, and delivery methods Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling content for marketing and proposals Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for team collaboration Team player with an eagerness to collaborate, learn, and grow Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Photography and videography - a plus! Technical Skills
