$17/hour The Economic Growth Business Incubator (EGBI) is a non-profit organization that supports emerging and existing businesses led primarily by historically economically disadvantaged community members in the Greater Austin area. We provide tools for business establishment and growth through education, business plan assistance, and consulting. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented part-time Creative Design Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will enhance our brand by creating visually compelling designs for print and digital media and maintaining engaging website content. This position is ideal for someone passionate about design, creativity, and detail, who thrives in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include:
Graphic Design:
Design high-quality graphics for print and digital materials, including flyers, social media, newsletters, and websites. Develop branding materials aligned with our organization’s vision and messaging. Website Content Updates:
Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy, visual appeal, and brand consistency. Collaborate with team members to implement design changes and optimize user experience. Digital Media Creation:
Create engaging visual content for social media, email campaigns, and other digital channels. Design banners, icons, and assets for digital media. Brand Consistency:
Ensure all designs adhere to branding guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms and materials. Collaboration and Strategy:
Work with marketing, communications, and other teams to conceptualize and execute design projects. Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative ideas and solutions. File Management:
Organize design files and archives. Prepare final files for print and digital distribution. Skills Required:
Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy Mastery in Canva Familiarity with WordPress Familiarity with Eventbrite Experience with Divi Template is a plus Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Consultant:
