Join Columbia Distributing as a Wine & Spirits Ambassador in Spokane, WA. This role is essential to the company's success in the Wine & Spirits division. The Ambassador is responsible for advancing and securing beverage sales in the market, performing functions to secure new business accounts and facilitating the needs of existing sales accounts. This is accomplished through territory planning, selling, education, and communicating the achievement of company and supplier objectives. Primary Responsibilities
Accomplish sales and distribution goals by executing monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans and company initiatives. Drive the success of the Wine & Spirits portfolio by partnering with suppliers and customers to execute commercial plans and develop key on-premise accounts. Sell in distribution, menu placements, promotions, drink features, and back bar placements at key customers. Function as a wine and spirits expert in creating programs, education, and training for assigned accounts and interact with supplier leadership to prioritize and troubleshoot market activities. Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities to drive incremental sales above base business. Analyze data and insights to increase sales, grow customer business, and better achieve objectives. Requirements
High School diploma or GED required. WSET must be passed within one (1) year of start date. Minimum two (2) years previous sales experience in the beverage industry. Valid driver's license and auto insurance required. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred. On Premise experience. Compensation
