Senior Instructional Designer – Responsibilities
Conduct needs analysis and performance consulting to identify learning gaps Design and develop innovative and engaging learning solutions aligned with business priorities and objectives Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather content and validate learning outcomes Develop and maintain learning materials, paths, and course frameworks Evaluate learning effectiveness using data and feedback to ensure clarity, usability, engagement, and business impact Support change management and communication strategies through learning Design and develop engaging learning solutions and materials aligned with business objectives Stay current with instructional design best practices, trends, and emerging technologies Qualifications
Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Creative problem-solving and critical thinking Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to translate complex concepts into accessible learning experiences Adult learning theory and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) Learning experience design (LxD) principles eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Agile, Adobe Captivate) Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday, Cornerstone) Learning analytics and data-driven design Experience with multimedia content creation (video, audio, graphics) Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education or related field required Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP, ATD) preferred 3–5 years of experience in instructional design or corporate training Experience designing for diverse audiences and delivery formats (e.g., eLearning, ILT, VILT, blended) EEO Statement
