Payroll Processor
with HR Generalist experience to lead our bi-weekly payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now. While the primary responsibility of this role is accurate, end-to-end payroll execution, the position also supports broader HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $35.00/hr Responsibilities
Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now, including updates to team member data, timekeeping review, deductions, and audits. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and internal policies. Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related matters, including reconciliations and reporting. Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to onboard new hires and ensure timely payroll and benefits setup. Support benefits enrollment, changes, and questions, including open enrollment. Maintain accurate and compliant team member records and assist with audits and policy updates. Respond to employee inquiries and assist with team member relations and engagement efforts. Assist with job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling when needed. Maintain and manage employee data in ADP and other HR platforms. Prepare regular reports on payroll, headcount, and compliance metrics. Qualifications
2–3 years of hands-on payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now in a multi-state environment. Background in general HR functions such as onboarding, benefits, or compliance. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Strong understanding of payroll regulations and labor laws. High attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Preferred
Experience with additional HR systems or ATS platforms. Prior work in a law firm or professional services setting. PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or willingness to pursue. Seniority level
