Fundraising and Special Events Manages CHR’s donor database and generates timely acknowledgement letters. Under direction from the Development Director, implements CHR’s donor acknowledgement policy, maintains an accurate inventory of assets to fulfill the policy, and ensures timely completion of assignments. Maintains accurate records of donations, including gifts in-kind; generates reports as requested. Maintains an accurate database of grants made to CHR by private foundations and tracks deadlines for submitting proposals as well as required reports. Under direction from the Development Director, assists with a wide range of duties to promote and execute CHR’s major fundraising events, including the Silent Auction, registration support, and volunteer recruitment for Swing for Hope. Provides support on researching individuals, corporations, and foundations using online database services, websites, libraries, and government sources. Attends donor events and assists with registration and other logistical support. Assists with logistics for CHR’s annual holiday Adopt-a-Family campaign. Marketing, Communications, and Outreach Under direction from the Communications Director, helps to draft and post social media and Intranet messaging. Designs/updates fliers and other marketing materials, using approved templates. Updates text on website. Assists with the management of video and podcast archives. Supports CHR’s brand management plan by preparing materials for events, maintaining an inventory of branded materials, and maintaining an accurate calendar of outreach events to support CHR. Supports other events such as news conferences, announcements, Chamber events, etc. Other communications and development tasks, as requested. Administrative Support Coordinates logistical support for photo shoots, video projects, and special events. Coordinates scheduling and communication around volunteer committee meetings, donor events, and team meetings. Coordinates monthly billing reports. Additional duties as required. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of two to four years of related experience – experience in non-profit fundraising or special events is preferred; experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and donor database/CRM platforms is preferred; experience with Bloomerang is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:
Starting at $29.36/hr min., and up commensurate upon experience. Actual rates are determined at the time of offer and are based on relevant experience, as well as adherence to our internal equity policy. Many positions offer program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives. For part-time positions, this range would be pro-rated based on hours worked. Benefits:
