Development & Marketing Associate: Advancement- 6615 Location: Windsor, CT • Full-time, 40 hours/week • Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

About the position : Development & Marketing Associate. Under the direction of the Development Director and Communications Director, this role supports fundraising, marketing, and administrative tasks for CHR’s Advancement team.

Responsibilities

Fundraising and Special Events: manages CHR’s donor database, generates acknowledgement letters, and maintains accurate records of donations (including gifts in-kind) with timely reporting. supports major fundraising events (e.g., Silent Auction, Swing for Hope) and donor/event logistics. conducts donor research and attends donor events as needed.

Marketing, Communications, and Outreach: drafts and posts social media and intranet content; designs/updates marketing materials; updates website text; manages video/podcast archives; supports brand management and outreach event calendars; assists with events and related communications tasks.

Administrative Support: coordinates logistics for photo/video shoots and events; schedules volunteer meetings and donor events; coordinates monthly billing reports; performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred

Experience: 2-4 years in nonprofit fundraising or events preferred; experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, and donor database/CRM platforms preferred; Bloomerang experience a plus

Compensation & Benefits Starting at $29.36/hr minimum, commensurate with experience. Actual rates determined at offer; program/location differentials and/or sign-on incentives may apply. For part-time roles, compensation is pro-rated.
