Peripheral Intervention At BD Our Peripheral Intervention (PI) business unit offers a comprehensive range of medical products, devices and services for the treatment of peripheral arterial and venous disease, cancer detection, and end-stage renal disease and maintenance. Primary Job Responsibilities Educates and trains physicians and hospital staff on technical matters relating to BDPI products through case support, and conducts or coordinates one-on-one in-servicing, and/or internal/external physician education training programs. Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, hospitals and physicians. Acquires new users and applications for company products and services. Observes and reports market trends which affect BDPI sales, service and product development. Processes customer complaints and returns. Fulfills the duty of a Territory Manager in vacant territories and supports endovascular procedures as directed by the District Manager. About You Associate’s degree or B.S. in Nursing, Cardiovascular, Radiology, Vascular Surgery or other equivalent technical discipline required. Minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in the Operating Room, Interventional Radiology Lab, or Cardiac Cath Lab required. Ability to acquire product knowledge including all features and benefits of BDPI Surgical and Endovascular procedures, adequate to support clinical cases required. Basic anatomy, Medical and surgical terminology required. Current credentialing and/or certification in respective clinical disciplines. Advanced knowledge of vascular access management, vascular surgery, and endovascular medicine required. 80% travel required. Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD's auto safety standards.
