Overview:
The Senior Project Controls Analyst plays a critical role in supporting large, complex projects by developing detailed schedules, integrating cost estimates, and analyzing performance data. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers, nuclear development staff, contractors, and stakeholders to gather data for scheduling and cost analysis. Develop Level 1–5 detailed implementation schedules using
Primavera P6 . Integrate cost estimates with schedules to produce logic-tied, resource-loaded cost flow projections. Analyze schedule deviations and report potential cost/schedule impacts. Prepare reports comparing baseline schedules to progress schedules, including CPM, resource/cost loading, manpower, and recovery plans. Monitor real-time cost and schedule performance to assess project health. Recommend corrective actions to mitigate overruns. Support development of accurate
Estimate to Completion (ETC)
forecasts. Maintain configuration control and perform consistency reviews. Identify and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement. Attend project meetings and support process adherence. Enter and manage data across various databases and systems. Required Skills & Abilities
Expert-level proficiency in
Primavera P6 , cost management systems, and
Power BI . Strong understanding of
project lifecycle ,
critical path method (CPM) , and
risk management . Proven experience in developing baselines, forecasts, and variance analyses. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Deep knowledge of
Earned Value Management (EVM) . Strong analytical, mathematical, and data validation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated. Desired Skills
Experience supporting projects with budgets of
$25M+ . Familiarity with
Asset Suite ,
Workday Adaptive Planning , and
Workday . Background in
process improvement
and
GAAP . Experience in
nuclear ,
renewable energy , or
construction
industries. Education & Experience Requirements
Option 1:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Finance, or related field +
6–10+ years
of project controls experience on large/complex projects. Option 2:
Associate degree +
12 years
of relevant experience. Option 3:
High School diploma/GED +
14 years
of relevant experience. Preferred Certifications
Earned Value Management Certification
via PMI (e.g., PMP, CCP, PBA, SP, CAPM, RMP or equivalent). Location:
