T. Edward Wines & Spirits This role is pivotal in enabling the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to focus on strategic growth initiatives, supplier relations, brand development, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, discreet, and excels at prioritization in a fast-paced environment with strong emotional intelligence and professionalism.
Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily schedule, prioritize and coordinate meetings, calls, and travel (domestic and international).
Audit weekly calendar, block time for deep work, travel, etc.
Prepare daily briefing docs.
Monitor and triage high-volume email inbox; draft, proofread, and send communications on behalf of the CGO.
Serve as a gatekeeper and liaison, ensuring clear communication between the CGO and internal/external stakeholders.
Prepare meeting agendas, notes, recaps, and follow-ups; track progress on action items.
Handle expense reports, receipts, and budget tracking with Finance.
Create executive travel itineraries and scheduling, book hotels/flights, etc.
Strategic & Project Support
Assist with preparation and editing of presentations, strategic documents, proposals, and reports.
Support coordination and execution of key initiatives across departments in collaboration with Marketing.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance to move projects forward and align with CGO priorities.
Maintain and update project trackers, dashboards, and internal communications tools.
Attend core meetings and take notes; provide recap/summary.
Relationship Management
Help manage and maintain key supplier, distributor, and client relationships, including scheduling, correspondence, and event support.
Prepare personalized communications and recognition for supplier/partner milestones or crises.
Create and maintain direct line of contact with counterparts at client groups (Major Food Group, USHG, etc.).
Build relationships with sample submission editors at major trade publications.
Represent the company at trade tastings and events.
Confidential & Special Projects
Support HR and personnel-related matters with discretion (org charts, reviews, feedback summaries).
Coordinate CGO's internal leadership initiatives, wellness weeks, and special events.
Perform research and benchmarking as requested, often on tight timelines.
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Ability to anticipate needs and act with appropriate urgency.
Strong emotional intelligence, discretion, and grace under pressure.
A passion for hospitality, wine, spirits, or luxury/lifestyle industries is a plus.
A background in communications, business, hospitality, or marketing is preferred.
