Instructional Designer

for a

Contract

with a client in

Canonsburg, PA/Houston, TX . This role develops impactful business unit communications to drive engagement and change adoption across diverse teams. Rate Range:

$30/hour to 33.77/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Instructional Designer job responsibilities include: Design and develop engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, and job aids. Conduct needs assessments and collaborates with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and content requirements. Apply instructional design models and adult learning principles to create effective training solutions. Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (LMS) to build and deploy content. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Continuously improve learning programs based on learner feedback, business needs, and emerging technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years in instructional design or learning development. Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar. Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and applying adult learning principles to course design.
