The National Recovery Remarketing Analyst will oversee the liquidation process from beginning to end and will be responsible for optimizing auction returns. Work with forwarders, auctions, and 3rd party remarketers to determine auction footprint and optimum auction locations for the liquidation of all recovery units including salvage. This individual will need a thorough knowledge of the retail and wholesale care industry as well as collections practices, UCPA, and the redemption process.
Responsibilities
Manage and Oversee Liquidation Process (70%):
Manage recovery process of approximately 2400-3000 units a year with a recovery value of up to $20 Million dollars
Manage and help direct multiple Recovery vendors as required
Ensure optimum recovery on all automobile collateral liquidated by Allied Solutions, LLC
Maximize the financial returns on all recovered vehicles
Remarket cars as deemed appropriate on behalf of Allied Solutions lender clients
Handle all issues with automobiles in impound, and in situations related to lien recovery
Make reconditioning decisions based on unit value & condition, market conditions & experience
Before each Sale – inspect all units delivered for sale, determine appropriate floor pricing, verify all reconditioning has been completed and that this is done on a timely basis at minimal cost
Personally represent the automobile units in question, take “if” bids, make counter offers, expedite and accomplish a successful sales process
Manage and monitor unit title process
Maintain effective communication with all Allied Solutions employees in the Claim and Recovery Department and other internal customers as required
Maintain Strong Auction Partnerships
In concert with the Director, determine auction footprint and optimum auction locations for the liquidation of all recovery units including salvage
Determine and oversee alternate recovery methods vs. auction
Develop & maintain strong customer service skills, develop a loyal customer buying base and maintain strong automobile auction relationships
Attend Repo/Remarketing industry conferences
Reporting and Compliance
Perform on-site audits of auction performance, handle arbitrations, prepare reports and handle title issues as necessary, to ensure expedient automobile liquidation
Serve as a resource for Sales and other Allied Solutions clients with issues related to automobile liens, impounds and remarketing
Input sale information into IVOS System including MMR, Floor Price, Sale Price, Date Sold, etc.
Collect auction data, number of bidders, total auction volume, auction sales percentage to determine auction viability
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
5-7 years of directly related work experience required
