The Department of Marketing at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, invites applications from qualified candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor of Marketing (non-tenured, tenure-eligible) to begin in August 2026. The Department is seeking colleagues with research focused on consumer behavior, and with experience teaching undergraduate or graduate marketing courses at an AACSB-accredited public university. We strive for excellence in both research and teaching; this is reflected by engagement in significant ongoing research and strong effectiveness in teaching. The faculty member will be expected to teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, contribute to mentoring students. Our faculty's research is published consistently in leading marketing journals, with faculty members consistently winning university and national awards for their research. The faculty member will also participate in outreach and contribute to departmental, college, and university service. In these and other ways, the faculty member will help develop innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement and expanding collaborations with community and business partners. The Department of Marketing is one of six academic units in the Eller College of Management offering undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. The Department is internationally recognized for pioneering research, innovative curriculum, and distinguished faculty. Duties & Responsibilities
Possess strong commitment to teaching and research. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Perform significant and continuing scholarly research leading to publications in leading academic journals and maintain an active research program. Teach in-person and/or online courses with distinction. Mentor doctoral students and serve the university through various committee assignments and in additional ways, meeting the needs of both the department and college, and enhance their external stature. Serve in internal university and external community service. The normal teaching load in the department, under present policy, is the equivalent of three courses per academic year with a typical workload distribution of: 40% teaching; 40% scholarly activity/research; and 20% service. Minimum Qualifications
PhD in Marketing or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution by the start date. Experience teaching university-level courses in an in-person and/or online format. Preferred Qualifications
