We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team. This individual will manage the full lifecycle of client opportunities—serving as a strategic advisor, project manager, and client advocate. You’ll oversee everything from discovery and quoting to order placement, vendor coordination, installation oversight, and post-install service. You’ll collaborate with clients, design teams, project coordinators, manufacturers, and installers to ensure seamless execution and a best-in-class customer experience.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
Cultivate strong, ongoing relationships with clients and industry partners
Lead client meetings, workplace tours, and solution presentations
Identify opportunities for upselling, value engineering, and long-term account growth
Project Oversight: Manage and track multiple projects at varying stages
Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
Partner with internal design and project coordination teams to translate client goals into successful installations
Monitor progress and proactively identify risks, changes, or roadblocks
Create and manage quotes, specifications, and purchase orders with speed and accuracy
Coordinate closely with manufacturer reps, logistics teams, and operations to ensure timely delivery and execution
Oversee punch list and closeout processes with thorough attention to detail
Communication & Documentation
Take ownership of internal and external communications
Maintain thorough records in CRM, project tracking software, and cloud-based folders
Document meeting notes, action items, and decisions clearly and follow through consistently
Qualifications
A strong communicator and relationship builder
Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle many moving parts
Comfortable in a fast-paced, client-facing role with high expectations
A proactive problem solver who thrives on collaboration and accountability
Naturally curious, driven, and always looking for ways to improve
What You Bring
Experience in the contract furniture, commercial interiors, architecture, or design industry preferred
3–5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or project coordination
Strong technical aptitude with quoting systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Connecticut
What You'll Love About Interscape
A modern, design-forward showroom and HQ
A close-knit, collaborative team that takes pride in our work and culture
A hybrid work model with flexibility for remote work and family needs
A generous and comprehensive benefits package including:
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
HSA contributions
401K with company match
Student loan repayment support
Paid holidays, floating holidays, PTO, and additional flexible WFH days
