Part Time Key Holder
for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store during high volume periods and support new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales. Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services. Open and close the store, arriving early and leaving late as needed. Assist during high volume periods and support new employees. Know in-house products to recommend to customers. Assist with inventory management, including restocking, inventory counts, and discrepancy identification. Process cash transactions accurately, including opening/closing tills, cash counting, and deposits. Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics. Follow age verification policies. Ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts. Handle refunds and exchanges. Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including bag checks and security adherence. Maintain store cleanliness and standards in the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms. Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards. Qualifications:
At least 1 year of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or similar fields. Flexibility to work during peak hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Basic math skills and cash handling proficiency. Team-oriented attitude. Ability to lift up to 49 pounds. High School Diploma or equivalent. Pay:
Compensation varies based on location, market pricing, and market conditions. San Rafael, CA Salary Range: USD $18.75/hour Our pay reflects market expectations, with starting pay determined by skills, experience, and location.
