EP Senior Training Manager – OPAL Classroom
to lead the growth and development of a best-in-market clinical field force through advanced training programs. You will manage a team of OPAL instructors responsible for delivering classroom programs at our Arden Hills campus, while developing new advanced mapping programs to support the continued evolution of Boston Scientific’s electrophysiology portfolio. Current classroom training includes technologies such as OPAL and FARAVIEW, with future expansion into upcoming EP product launches. This role is pivotal to ensuring our world-class cardiology sales force learns, adapts, and excels in line with the division’s rapid growth. Work model, sponsorship, relocation
Role is fully remote and requires frequent travel to Arden Hills, regional training programs, centers of training (COTs), and off-site meetings. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position. Relocation assistance is not available at this time. Your responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop a team of subject matter experts, training coordinators, and administrative support staff Oversee classroom training delivery for OPAL Mapping, FARAPULSE PFA, and other EP technologies Design and implement advanced mapping programs aligned with future product launches Continuously evaluate and improve existing training programs for relevance, effectiveness, and scalability Communicate key projects and initiatives to executive leadership and stakeholders Partner with EP Training Managers on centers of training (COTs), field training, product launches, and strategic selling initiatives Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, R&D, sales operations, and other training teams to align divisional priorities Travel frequently to Arden Hills, regional events, COTs, and off-site meetings (approximately 75% overnight travel) Manage multiple projects from concept to execution in a fast-paced environment Apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify training gaps and create solutions Qualifications
Required qualifications: Minimum of 2 years’ direct management experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrophysiology (EP) with demonstrated technical or clinical proficiency; mapping and/or OPAL experience preferred Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Experience developing, executing, and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills Ability to tailor training materials to specific audiences and drive engagement Strong collaboration skills across teams and leadership levels Competency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Preferred qualifications: Experience with Boston Scientific EP products, including OPAL Mapping System Prior management experience leading high-performing teams Background in education or training within healthcare or medical device industries Requisition ID: 614773 Salary range: Minimum $116,300; Maximum $221,000 The anticipated compensation and benefits vary by location and other factors. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. It is not typical to hire near the bottom or top of the listed salary range. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may include overtime, shift differential, and annual bonus targets (subject to plan eligibility).
