Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, is seeking applicants for a 10-month graduate faculty position in Psychology (Applied Behavior Analysis) with an anticipated start date of August 2025. Reporting to the Dean of Arts and Sciences, the faculty member will primarily teach graduate coursework and chair thesis projects in the Master of Science Applied Behavior Analysis Program. Secondary responsibilities include research and service. Practice or consulting days alongside the appointment will be considered. A hybrid work schedule will also be considered. The person in this position must function in accordance with the philosophy and mission of the University, must display an appreciation for Catholic higher education, and must demonstrate a commitment to diversity. Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is a private, Catholic university founded by the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady with approximately 1,400 students. The college is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and grants associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral degrees primarily in health care professions. Doctorate in applied behavior analysis or psychology (ABD will also be considered) LBA certification in Louisiana (or eligibility) Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience in applied behavior analysis at undergraduate and/or graduate levels Research mentorship experience in applied behavior analysis Experience teaching online/hybrid delivery modes Responsibilities for Internal Candidates:
Teaching Engage with the Catholic and Franciscan mission and identity by modeling values, promoting justice, and integrating Catholic and Franciscan traditions into courses and services Implement curricular and instructional interventions Develop student learning outcomes Utilize peer review and coaching Apply feedback to improve instruction Participate in professional development activities Advising students and reflecting on advising effectiveness Contribute to the knowledge base through presentations and publications Participate in funded research and professional service activities Engage in community service and institutional committee work Qualifications for Internal Candidates:
Experience: Teaching and research mentorship in Applied Behavior Analysis (preferred) Experience with online/hybrid teaching modes (preferred) Education: Doctorate in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Counseling, or related field (ABD considered) Licensure: Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Louisiana (or eligibility), preferred How to apply
