If you are looking to start your career in ground investigation, please get in contact. We frequently have opportunities for graduates to join the geotechnical engineering division of Harrison Group. Positions can be based in the company’s Enfield, Cambridge, and Norwich offices. Responsibilities
Work on a range of ground investigation projects and a wide variety of projects in different sectors, across East Anglia, the Midlands, South of England and further afield. Combine site and office-based work, predominantly around the specification, operation and interpretation of geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigation. Be trained to undertake field tasks such as machine trial pit excavations, supervising borehole drilling, undertaking infiltration testing, ground gas monitoring, groundwater sampling and researching geological, hydrogeological, historical, topographical and environmental site information. Learn how geotechnical engineers provide foundation recommendations, advice on ground conditions, soil infiltration, and undertake stage one, two and three contamination assessments and remediation verification.
